I am learning so much from your books, I am currently reading my 2nd one. My question is on coffee creamer - I read the ingredients of the "non-fat" hazelnut coffee creamer I have been using for years and realized it contains several ingredients like hydrogenated items and cottonseed, etc - does this mean it actually does have fat? Although I have changed my diet since reading your books, I haven't been able to part with the coffee creamer yet, but will if it's bad for my heart. Please let me know what you think - thanks !

I don't use coffee creamers for two reasons. First, many contain added sugars. Secondly, I'm concerned about the hydrogenated oils, particularly palm oil and coconut oil. So, it can be a problem for trans and saturated fats.
If you need something white in your coffee, my first recommendation is non-fat milk. If that doesn't seem rich enough, try a small amount of 1% or even 2% milk.
