I've been cutting down on breakfast in an attempt to lose weight. Does this make sense?

Joe says:
No, it doesn't. Grandma was right when she said "Breakfast is the most important meal." In fact, studies show that people who eat a healthy, low-calorie breakfast tend to weigh less and have a higher-quality diet overall. A balanced breakfast includes foods that are low in calories for a relatively generous portion size, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein. For example, a 3 1/2-inch glazed donut has about 245 calories. For about the same amount you can eat a slice of whole-wheat toast, an apple, and 1/4-cup of low-fat cottage cheese. The healthy breakfast will also help control hunger and keep you feeling full longer.
